James McCann

An old soul, multi-instrumental-singer-song writer James McCann released his first solo EP, Po’boy Sessions in 2019. His first full length record, “Tales of a Northbound Drifter” released in March 2023. The modern day cowboy with a voice reminiscent of Willie Nelson, writes songs that speak to your heart in a tangible way. After an unplanned through-hike of the Appalachian Trail, McCann took the stripped down lifestyle to his music, back to the basics, in a way that fans of all ages can appreciate. Influenced by George Jones, Blaze Foley and Bobby Charles, McCann’s musical repertoire includes guitar, banjo, dobro, and pedal steel.
